Observations :
  1. The white and pink clay samples (marked 11 & 13) of Bhimguda deposit and grey clay samples (marked 14) of Mahika deposit had fired strength below 200 kg .cm2.
  2. None of the clay samples got matured ar 1200°C but showed water absorption values in the range of 11.14 to 18.13%.
  3. All the clay samples got poor densification showing the bulk density in the range of 1.8152 to 1.9943 gm. cc-1.
  4. The Than clay samples (marked 7 & 8) showed the fired MOR calues above 400 Kg.cm2 and appeared to be the good quality. Than clay suitablel for use in ceramic industry producing traditional ceramic products.
